Laboratories

Our well-equipped laboratories are used for testing the quality of our products and for custom jobs. They also facilitate the optimization of laser processing in our operations.

Chemical Analysis

We can measure the content of most elements in solid specimens by GDOES method and in liquid specimens by AAS.

Metallic Materials We can perform very rapid and accurate analysis of all grades of steel and cast iron, non-ferrous alloys, Ni-based superalloys, sintered carbides and also of other special materials. We can carry out qualitative analysis of unknown materials and verify the presence of a particular chemical element.

Non-Metallic Materials, Liquids Other forms of specimens, such as small chips, debris and wires can be dissolved and analyzed in atomic absorption spectrometers (AAS). Analysis can be performed on ceramics, slag, sands, various sediments and other materials. We also offer testing of liquids. We can analyze drinking and waste water, extracts, various process liquors, pickling baths and acids.

Metallography

We carry out both quantitive and qualitative analysis of the microstructure of metals. In addition to standardized evaluations of common characteristics, such as grain size, layer thickness, microstructure identification, weld quality testing and others, our experience allows us to perform comprehensive and long-term investigation into failure causes, verification of compliance with prescribed manufacturing procedures or testing of residual life.
