Moulds and Dies
Laser hardening of moulds is a common application of laser hardening. Its success stems from off-line programming of the welding robot, which guarantees rapid and accurate performance. The movement of the laser beam is programmed according to drawings supplied in advance by the client. The process requires accurate temperature regulation using a pyrometer in order to avoid surface damage or insufficient hardening.
