Engineering fair Welding Invitation
September 2010
We invite You to the 52-nd international engineering fair Welding, held on 13.-17.9.2010 at Brno. Visit us in pavilion V, booth No. 137. Functional robotic laser workstation with simulated hardening and welding process on robot Kuka KR5 six R850 will be installed for Your disposal. Besides MATEX company representatives You can consult directly with experts of major lasers producer Laserline.

Welding certificate
June 2010
On Wednesday, June 2-nd, company successfully completed welding certification audit according to ÈSN EN ISO 3834-2 and for welding of railway rolling wehicles according to ÈSN EN 15085. Audit has been carried out by Ing. Flégl from certification institute SVV Praha, s.r.o.. Hereby Matex PM confirmed high quality of its services.
Czech head
May 2010
At May 20, 2010 Matex company participated on international meeting European forum for science and technology, which was organized by Czech head society. We introduced
there robotic laser hardening station. Among lecturers were Nobel prize winner Peter Grünberg, general director of Austria
comp.Kapsch, chancellors and profesors of Europien univerzities. This year forum was focused on university research and inovations.

Hardening of hammer heads

May 2010
At the beginning of May 2010 we applied laser surface hardening of two parts directly in the
customer's facility. Two opposing forging hammer heads were proceeded, namely their
guidance rails and dovetail grooves, each 42 tons in weight. Total hardened area reached
60.000 cm2, hardening was done during 72 h.Aim of this operation was lifetime increasing of
equipment repaired by our client – CPF company.
